Senior Citizens and Elder Abuse

Elder Abuse is: Financial abuse, Physical abuse, Mental or psychological abuse, Physical or emotional neglect, Care-giver or institutional abuse.

If you are a victim of elder abuse, or know someone who is, call:

the Medicine Hat Police Service at 529-8400 or
the Victim Assistance Unit at 529-8480.

"Safely Home"

Safely home is a nation wide program designed to help find the person with Alzheimer's who is lost, and assist them in a safe return home. A registry stores vital information confidentially on a police database. Read more here.
